Welcome! I’m Bri, the owner of Henrietta Co. Photography.

Above all I consider myself an artist and a daydreamer. I’ve been taking photos since I was about 12, and professionally for 10 years now and what I’m constantly learning is how to make space for the art within my sessions with each client, but also how to make space to keep creating art for myself.

I not only enjoy creating art through photos, but also in the spaces I inhabit. I move my furniture around a lot. I swap out pieces of art on my walls. I love cooking with my husband for our friends. I never thought I’d say this but I’ve even started to love gardening. Stick around long enough and you’ll also see this website go through a refresh every once in a while.

Despite the confusion, my name isn’t Henrietta — it’s a street I’ve spent a lot of time on. It’s where I spent time as a kid, hanging out with my aunt, sleeping over on Thanksgiving Eve and then waking up to the smell of her crescent rolls and Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade on the TV. It’s where I learned how to make pies and cakes and also where I pulled my hair out while she coached me through my taxes (she was a CPA, God bless her). Eventually it’s where I moved into my first apartment, right next door to my aunt. And then a few years later it’s the street where my husband and I moved when we got married, into the third floor of my aunt’s house after she passed away.

Henrietta Co. is about the stories created and memories made.

If you like what you see, reach out. I’d love to talk to you.

Henrietta Co. is about stories, tradition, human connections. Not only did I adore the name, but I had so much connection to it through my aunt. It felt right to have it oversee the type of photos I provide.
